Finally, xp has taken the kids out

He said I could go, which i was expecting but I said no, even though the thought of a nice meal cooked by someone else was a nice thought LOL.

Oh well,i thought it was good news anyway.

Off to do something else instead of talk to myself on here.

I didn't go out, just ate my lunch in peace and then did some ironing whilst listening to music.

Hmmm not sure about that. He is still at his sisters at the mo, and his brother has put him on their car insurance for a year, so he could come see them whenever really.

What is bugging me today, is that he is helping his sister and her other half do up their house, wallpapering, laying laminate, dado rail etc, all things that he was meant to do here and could never be bothered. Feels like such a slap in the face.

NM he is probably getting paid for it thats why he is doing it, I doubt he would be doing it for nothing.

or hes sitting o his arse watching them asking the when they are gonna make coffee....what needs done at your place? What could you do when everyones at school that doesnt need a blokes strenght?

No he he isn't getting paid for it. They are letting him stay there when ever he likes cos it is nicer than his bedsit, so thats the tradeoff.

My place needs loads doing.

I brought a shed last year, but no one will help me lay the base for it, so for it so it is still in it's box outside. Non of my family seem to think it is important, even though the stuff that should be in my shed is currently in my downstairs loo, and the kids couldn't have new bikes last xmas cos i had no where to put them.

I have just decorated bathroom, and am doing kitchen soon, but it takes me so long on my own.

Good god. Can you not just warn your dad/the next bloke who rings you that the next time they are round you WILL be doing the shed, tea provided?

what base needs laid for a shed, a concrete bit?

Either needs slabbing or concreting, but it needs leveling a bit more first.

My dad knows it needs doing, and he also knows it is getting me down as it's just another job on my list that isn't gonna get done, but he doesn't seem bothered.

He brought me his cement mixer over last year, and thats it.

whereabouts are you, my dh could help out with the shed base, he does that sort of stuff for a living.
