What happens regarding contact for children when there’s been domestic violence that’s happened in front of the children?
I’ve no contact order in place.

It is up to you both as parents in what you agree is suitable contact.

I don’t know from a courts point of view, but I’m sure there are assessments from social services and cafcas.
The court will want to see police reports as well, I’m sure it will be a long process.

For me, social services carried out a safeguarding assessment following me reporting ex to the police
Social services said to stop contact and for ex to apply to court for contact

We are still in the court process and he’s currently allowed a phone call a week and fortnightly letters
