Ohh yes

What he said : Don't forget, if you need anything i'm only at the end of a phone.

What he meant : Well actually I am staying up at my sisters again and have no transport, so if you need me your stuffed.

j20baby · 26/05/2007 18:53

yes!

what he said: even though we're not together i'll always be there for you and the baby

what he meant: i'm a low life t**t, and if you try to get me to even acknowledge that your carrying my child i will make your life hell, and convince people your a lying gold digger.

pickledpear · 26/05/2007 19:06

What he said: I will stand by what we agreed
What he means: I will be as selfish, self-centred and manipulative as I can be and deny any previous agreement

what he said: i promise to change once the baby arrives

what he meant: i'm going to carry on being a selfish, violent drunk forever

what he said: you can have the house, i'm going to live in Ireland

what he meant: i'm staying alone in this 3-bed house for as long as i can so you have to stay cramped at your mum's

what he said: i'm going to have dd overnight and theres nothing you can do about it

what he meant: i'm going to be so drunk my mum won't even let me go to the contact centre to see dd for 2 hours (thank god!)

thats better!

bigheart · 27/05/2007 00:37

what he said - "i'm only a phone call away"
what he meant - "i'll answer my phone when i feel like it, but if i want to call you i expect you to answer immediately"

what he said - "my boy means everything to me"
what he meant - " i'll boast to everyone i know about what a great son i have, whilst you do all the hard work"

i could go on forever, but it does make me feel better!!

pickledpear · 27/05/2007 01:28

I'm busy for the next 2 weeks, at OU summer school. What he really meant I'm on holiday in France, with my new girlfriend and her children.

GiantSquirrelSpotter · 27/05/2007 20:38

What he said "Yes I'll phone them at least once a month"

What he meant: "Get me a drink"

PhilG · 30/05/2007 23:23

He says 'I'll come round in the week to see him'
What he means is 'I'll come in the week so I can have the weekends to myself to go out - oh but whilst I'm at yours I'll ponce a meal as well!'

Twinklemegan · 30/05/2007 23:37

It does work the other way too you know:

DH's ex-p - yes I know we're moving hundreds of miles away but we'll help out with contact and meet half way
Meaning - unless we've got something better to do like going to the beach, washing the car, going shopping, etc. etc.

agnesnitt · 06/06/2007 23:09

Said: She's the most important thing in my life.

Meant: After myself and my slut that is.

Said: I'll see her as much as I can.

Meant: As long as it suits me and my fabulous new social life.
