I'm busy for the next 2 weeks, at OU summer school. What he really meant I'm on holiday in France, with my new girlfriend and her children.

What he says: I'll do whatevas best for the baby
What he means: I'll do whatevas best for me and fits in with my life and stuff whats best for the baby

What he said "Yes I'll phone them at least once a month"

What he meant: "Get me a drink"

He says 'I'll come round in the week to see him'
What he means is 'I'll come in the week so I can have the weekends to myself to go out - oh but whilst I'm at yours I'll ponce a meal as well!'

It does work the other way too you know:

DH's ex-p - yes I know we're moving hundreds of miles away but we'll help out with contact and meet half way
Meaning - unless we've got something better to do like going to the beach, washing the car, going shopping, etc. etc.

Said: She's the most important thing in my life.

Meant: After myself and my slut that is.

Said: I'll see her as much as I can.

Meant: As long as it suits me and my fabulous new social life.
