Wrote on here the other day about not coping with DDs (8m) dad and the rubbish he keeps throwing at me. Anyway DD was ill and came out with a viral rash yesterday. I said yesterday’s contact couldn’t happen as she really wasn’t well. He wanted me to bring her to a park. I said no. Anyway she seemed happier today so arranges for her to see him today. I had to take her there and pick her back up as apparently no way of him doing one journey like he usually would but when I got there there were cars on the drive so he could have done a journey. Anyway I pass over DD and he just walks off. Then have his mum calling me asking me what to feed her etc and then made out like I’d allowed DD to get a really bad rash!!! Then went to pick her up, got there 7 mins early and called to say I was outside but was told he would bring her out in 7 mins!!! I’m so sick to death of the pettiness and constantly being made to feel like a crap mum and like I’m the devil. Also found out over the weekend that he’s claiming I was domestically violent/abusive towards him! And also found out that he’s not even paying the legal minimum CM. He never offered any petrol money today either. I’m not working atm and I’ve paid for absolutely everything for DD. It took us going to mediation for him to accept that he should buy her some bottles, milk and nappies for when he has her rather then me providing (even tho I provide everything else, car seat, pram, clothes etc). I’m just so fed up of it. I just get treated like an absolute mug and get told I’m stopping him from seeing his DD but I’m honestly trying everything I possibly can but just continue to get treated like crap and now for him to claim DV from me.

Hi
I can really relate to this, I had the same issues with my ex, constantly just bringing me down mentally but I just dealt with it because I wanted him to have a relationship with my son. But an incident happened that could of really affected my son so I had to stop contact in the end. I think you should get the money situation sorted out and raise all these issues you have when you have to go back to mediation again. Even if it doesn't make a difference to the situation it's best to have a record of it all

Sorry to hear that! Have things worked out for the better now? Yeh I’ve got a solicitor involved now but hopefully it doesn’t end up in court as I’m sure that would just hurt everyone.

I know I've definitely not heard the last of him and I know he'll keep trying. It's just a difficult situation when you know what's best for you and your child but that worry that you'll get told your wrong and he has every right to be involved.
Yeah that's good you've got a solicitor. If he sends you abusive messages or anything screenshot them and keep hold of them, they may help your situation in the future

Yeh I’ve screen shot everything so far and he has calmed down since he received my solicitors letter but I know he’ll be stewing on it and he’ll start again soon in some way or another!
Did you have to go to court?
