I posted earlier this week about a birthday party me and DS went to that turned into a nightmare. I was the only single parent there and sat on my own.
Anyway the next day I felt ill then had to get a doc out. Turns out I have sinusitis. My parents were on holiday so couldn't help. I asked DS dad in desperation but he refused to help. DS was also running a fever. I feel loads better now but now my DS has a bad chest and ear infection and is quite poorly. Also I had to take a day off work so won't get paid for that. I just want this week to be over! I can't even speak to my counsellor as last week I had no childcare and this week my DS is ill.
Feeling pretty rubbish. Most people have no idea how tough it is when you or your child or both of you are ill and you have to deal with it all on your own!!!
Sorry I had to get that rant out!

I posted on your last post been. Sick or sick young children is in my experience the hardest part of been a Lp.

I have now reached the point my Ds can roughly take care of himself when I am ill.

It really sucks duvet day is what is needed Flowers

I think it is the hardest too. I'm not too bad now I'm up and about and my DS is 2 and gets bored very easily so struggling to keep him occupied. Hopefully his medicine will kick in within 24 hours. I feel so sorry for him :(

It is hard but it gets easier as they get older. Big hug to you OP, you will survive and your DS will bounce back much quicker than you think.
