Feeling guilty and fed up

This weekend was not mine to have DS. His dad is ill so I took him back at half 9 this morning. Was stuck what to do with his last min. Was going to take him somewhere but did some tidying as the house was like a trip. Then he needed a nap. And now he's just woke up and it's too late to go. I feel like I've wasted a day. Things work so much better when I have a plan already thought out and I have everything ready.
Was just a mad dash to go get him this morning, I haven't even showered today.
Sorry just ranting sigh

Don't be so hard on yourself. I know because it's nice weather you feel you have to do something productive. My kids and I have spent the day at home pottering around and tomorrow will be the same but I'll make sure we do some fun things in the garden lol.

Don’t feel guilty! Days at home relaxing and not doing anything much are so important. We’ve had a busy week and so we had a day like that today. Pyjamas and lazing around. Watched a film, played some games and I caught up with house work. We all do it!
