Hi @singledad18 try contacting one parent families scotland. Depending where you are based they have quite a few different support groups solely for single dads. I've had advice from them before (I'm a single mum) but they actually have more groups for Dads and even when they don't have groups near by, they still offer some help to point you in the right direction. Hope it helps :)

Hi mate. Single Dad here to 13 and 11 year old daughters, with a 50:50 set up. You might want to have a look at this group if you're on Facebook:

www.facebook.com/groups/LoDSingleDads/

It's dads only. Not gonna lie - some of the guys on there are knobs, and you get some woman-bashing stuff that wears pretty bloody thin very quickly! But there's also lots of great stuff, and guys who are doing everything they can to be incredible dads. You'll find everything from doing daughters hair, to days out, to father / son activities, to advice on parenting issues, to bringing in extra cash. Full range of guys, from those with their kids full time, to those who are fighting for access. Worth a look.

Other options include the Meetup app to see if there are any dad groups in your area (or to start one if there aren't), local charities, etc.

That's not to say you can't post here too by the way.. We all face similar issues and there can be some great support and advice here.
