Child contact during the weekend and childcare costs

Myself and xp have an arrangement in place - he has the the dc (ds 6 and ds 4) overnight on Wednesday and every other weekend from Friday until Monday morning.

Is it unreasonable to expect that if he is unable to pick the dc up from school/drop off at school then it is his responsibility to arrange and pay for before and after school club? Like I have to?

Title should read "child contact during the week and childcare costs"

Yes that is very reasonable. But good luck getting him to actually do it and not just expect you to.

Yes, totally reasonable and I wish I’d been smart enough to have my ex take responsibility and pay for the childcare on his two nights per week all through primary school. I got tax credits towards it, but it certainly didn’t cover it all, especially £210 a week at summer.

But as per PP, I’d have struggled to get him doing that and then what choice do you have? It’s infuriating.
