May not be the right place to post but here goes! My daughter is 2 in July and I was single from 26 weeks pregnant until October last year. Up until then DD had never spent a night away from me, now my mum has her over night once a month and overnights are starting every other Saturday with her dad when she turns 2. We have 2 family holidays planned this year however me and DP were hoping to get away on our own for a few nights end of September. I know this is stupid but I feel like my daughter will hate me for this! She will be looked after my mum/dad and will be perfectly happy staying with them but I don’t want her to feel like I’m abandoning her! Am I just being silly?

She will be fine. You will come back refreshed. You are allowed to have a life.
