Cms appeal

Has anyone successfully appealed a cms calculation?

Ex has been working for a couple of years as a labourer on various sites. But cms are still calculating him on a benefits rate and giving an award of £7 a week. I suspect it's cash in hand or classed as self employment...?

Hmmmm. So I called the cms and requested a mandatory reconsideration this morning. They called back this afternoon and have said I don't meet the criteria and that I need to call the inland revenue tax evasion department... this is going to get horrid if I pursuit it isn't it?

The cms are corrupt in my view!

Complain and speak to your mp!

Good luck x

Save yourself now. Walk away and don't bother. That's coming from an ex CSA debt collection agent. They won't collect.

I receive £8 a week based on CMS assessment of ex Tax Return which records ex earns £115 per week. Not possible as during divorce proceedings in 2017 ex declared a net income of £3500. Previous Maintenance was £170 per week.

I called CMS and they advised they have to calculate based on HMRC Tax Returns.

What can I do next as £8 a week does not even pay school meals?
