I would love to meet any single parents who want to meet up at weekends with or without kids. I have 3 kids, ds of 6, dd of 16 and older ds of 19 at Uni. In particular i find weekends esp. a boring drag and want to make new friends to go out with. Usually my ds of 6 goes to his Dad on Sat a.m. and returns Sunday at 6 p.m., so weekends are the worst times when i feel lonely. anyone in same boat ? ? ? ? ?

Hi. I have a DD age 7 and we live in east Southampton. My little one is with me every weekend (no contact with her father) and I find the weekends hard to fill too. Always looking for something to do and new people to meet.

Hello maltesers. Funnily enough bought a bag full of stuff at Primark yesterday!! Took most of it back today... Don't go into town that often -stops me spending money I don't have. But always willing to meet up for a chat and a cup of coffee. Not working at the mo, but help a DD's school Thurs pm and am at college Wed pm. Yes, have the use of a car. Haven't had a night out in Southampton for a long time. Mainly go with friend/s to local pubs. We live in the Townhill area of Southampton. My Mum lives round the corner so 99.9% of the time have a sitter for those evenings I do get to go out.

whereabouts is townhill ? is it fairly central.? how long have you been separated from your partner.? scuse 100 questions ! yesterday had rather a lonely day and went into primark etc. . . the only buzz of the day. a male friend stood me up sat night so as ds was at his dads i met up with two friends at local pub.

Hi malteser. Townhill is on the very east side of Southampton next to West End. (Rose Bowl Cricket Ground). Where abouts are you, in Romsey? Visit Shootash Car boot sale some Saturdays and if we go swimming we visit the Rapids. Split up with my dd's father when I was pregnant and haven't seen him since. He's never seen his daughter. Sorry you were filling time at the weekend. Sad when your child has a better social life than you do!! I was lucky this weekend and was out on Saturday night with a man friend and had a lovely evening. If you want to email direct you can find at [email protected]
