ex dp has taken ds out for the day to his perants caravan..... have just found out that ex dp's cousin who is on the sex offenders reg is there.... am bouncing mad! i have specifically said that i do not want him around my son ever!! He is not on the reg for abusing small children (he was having sex with under age girls... 13/14) but that is not the point. Am i over reacting???

That would be it for me im afraid,i would stop him havign any unsupervised contact with ds as he obviously isnt putting his safety first.sorry if that sounds a bit harsh but having been abused myself and my exs father being an abuser i just fel very strongly about the whole thing,sorry.

Actually, I think you're being unreasonable for not bashing his head repeatedly against the wall.
Realistically the odds of any harm are pretty small, partly because of the orientation of the cousin, and the lack of privacy in a small caravan.
But that's not the point at all, if he's that cavalier about safety and your stated wishes, then who knows what else he might do ?

sorry to bump this but really need some advice.... am off to see solicitor about ex dp and need to know should i mention this or am i just being spiteful! if i do mention this to the solicitor it will seriously isolate me from just about everyone in ex dp's family which obviously is not that good for ds!!!

I would definately mention it,to be honest i cant belive your thinking of not mentioning it. Think how you would feel is anything happened to ds ?? it would be a lot worse than isolation.TRust me ive been through it .
