Child Maintenance, Direct Pay question

CMS set up a payment plan where my husband has to pay a set amount each week as of last week. He hasn't made the two payments he should have done as of now and he's given me no assurances or indication that he will, but he has apparently gone from a temp contract to a permanent contract so I'm giving him a few more weeks to see if he will pay a monthly amount equal to the weekly amounts that he owes. Assuming he doesn't, is he still liable for the missed payments? Or as it's only a calculation made by CMS, is there nothing legally enforceable about it unless/until I go to Collect and Pay?

Thank you. That's good to know. I won't rush to move to Collect and Pay just yet then (we're living with my parents so for now, we're not struggling for money).

You can contact CMS when the payment is 1 week late and they will chase him up.
