Poorly children!

Working single mum and I hate the guilt when the children are poorly. I always feel like I have to talk them to try school, obviously not sickness, but I'm off today with one who has an awful cold, dizzy the works and I feel so guilty.
I'm not off work often but it doesn't help the guilt. I hate that feeling

I am a childminder and had to shut a couple of weeks ago as DS had tummy bug..Not only does it cost me money it also means everyone else has to sort out childcare..However it would be the same if I had a partner someone would need to of been home with him..Forget the guilt and enjoy your duvet day

bad enough to cope with without work to take into account. (pressure to make sure you keep their absences down) would hate to have to take work into account.

childminding sounds worse ... poor you. (though it was probably one of the other kids that was being typhoid mary, sent in ill)
