My daughter's dad and I have recently separated after 10 yrs he has another child (older) that my daughter knows nothing about as he has never wanted to know her. I've always said my daughter should know she has a sister. Anyway his ex wife has contacted me about the girls meeting and having a relationship which is what I want. Am i within my rights to just do it with my ex's permission

Can't see why you would need his permission?? Did he not see her at all while you were together then?

No he's never seen her. She's known about my daughter all her life her mum has never kept us a secret and she wants notjing more than to have a relationship with my daughter and if love for my daughter to know she has a sister

It’s a very positive thing! You most certainly do not need his permission
