Hi there

I'm 18 weeks pregnant with my first child and dealing with a very messy situation with my ex. Background is here if that helps: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/relationships/3066481-Pregnant-lonely-and-head-racing?pg=1&order=

My head is all over the place today. I feel like a crap mum already and wish I were stronger. I'm looking for some advice on pulling myself up by my bootstraps and getting on with it.

I have quickly scanned your last post . My opinion is focus on what you will need . Work if you can to get your self in best financial position you can . Take care of yourself . At this point in time do not contact the dad he doesn’t need any involvement until baby is born .

Thanks Starlight - it's quite long, sorry! I'm lucky that I can get a certain number of counselling sessions through work so I'm doing that to try to get my head in order.
