Hello ladies, I've recently applied for income support after my relationship had broken down. I sent my pack back with my I.D on Monday, I was just wondering when I am likely to get a payment? I've never had to do this before so I really have no clue and money is already very tight 😕 so I'm worrying really! Oh yeah forgot to mention, I have a 2 year old so the interview has been wavered seeing as I'm a lone parent to a child under 5. Tia x

Hi can you apply online? Or do I have to download the pack and fill it and send it off?

I have a little boy who's 2 in December also a little girl is 5 months old.

I get no help off their dad not one penny

Only getting tax credits monthly and child benefit weekly

Would love to go back to work but all my family work full time 😢have no one to help with my kids etc.

Ive also recently applied. Around 2-3 weeks ago. I got my id etc and back after about a week but haven't heard anything since.

Im hoping when I do get some money that its backdated to when I first claimed? Not sure if they do or not though.

I also applied for other benefits - child benefit takes 12 weeks apparently ShockShock

I've found it usually takes around 3-5 weeks to be awarded and yes it does get backdated to when you applied.
