Action for Employment (work based training)

I have been a single parent for just over 2 years and have had to claim income support for that time. Anyway after speaking to my lone parent advisor he recommended a work based training program called "Action 4 Employment", has anyone got any experience of it?

Anyway I went along for an interview he set up for me and I thought it sounded like a good way to get back into work so have agreed to start on the 30th of this month.

My advisor briefly mentioned that I might be entitled to £15 for agreeing to train for work but he's not mentioned it since...does anyone know anything about this? I don't really want to ask incase he thinks that's the only reason I'm doing it but obviously it would help our finantial situation no end...

Any advice welcome.

Sorry that should read £15 a week.
