I am just about to take my 5 year old to a restaurant for the evening, just the two of us. I am really excited we both enjoy it so much. I never really see other parents alone with young children at this time, is it something people don't do?

He did go very mature and ask for water as his mouth was on fire but still insisted he finished his meal,
and he loves me, probably one of the best dates i have had.

ok so maybe he's only the 99% perfect date ratherthan the 100% perfect date - nice mild korma next time?

fairyfly · 18/07/2004 23:38

Yeh just realised you don't usually have to wipe a bum after a real date, so maybe i should still look out for them too
