Please help!
Newly single dad with full time custody of a two year old, how many hours will I be entitled to free childcare for her?
Will that change if I go back to work?
I have tried looking online but finding it really complicated to figure out
Thanks

15 hours regardless whether you work or not!

I think it may go up to 30 hours in September if your working? it may only be some areas. And free childcare is only term time. You should ring your council or see if they have details on their website.

There is funding for some two year olds but generally it kicks in the term after they are three, when you will get 15 hours.

Sorry the 30 hours may only be for 3&4 years olds. I just know I missed out because my youngest is starting school.

Thank you everyone, least with 15hrs I will be able to get some help with childcare and go back to work 😊
