Hi! Don't know if I've put this in the right please but really need some advice. I'm in the middle of a court case with my daughters dad he wants to buy her a tv for her bedroom baring in mind she's only 18 months old. I've told him no because for 1 it's dangerous putting a tv in a babies room 2 their is literally no need for a tv to be put in her bedroom, before he pulls this up in court and says I'm being unreasonable I wanted to get some advice on it. Any help appreciated

Unfortunately you can't dictate how he parents his own dd when you aren't around.
If he wants her to have a TV at his house she can have one. .

But it's not for down his house it's for when she is with me because he is only having supervised access

Thanks, she only sleeps in her bedroom and I get her dressed in their otherwise she's in the living room so it is literally pointless

If it saves an argument let him buy the thing but insist it's fixed to the wall. You don't have to use it.

Why should she

From what I gather from when he was having her stay with him all they did was watch tv and he was on his phone the majority of the time.. it even got to a point where he had what ever girl he was dating at the time bathing her and putting her to bed and everything.. he's supposed to be proving to me that he can be responsible and to me that is anything but? It's the wire hanging down and the fact that she climbs on everything and pulls anything that she can I just see it as a accident waiting to happen

I don'tq know maybe I'm being to paranoid but either way surely she is to young to be having a tv in her bedroom I don't know anyone that has put a tv in their babies bedrooms

Explain to the court it isn't necessary as you can parent you dd without technological assistance - unlike him. .

I can't see why he is so desperate for her to have a TV in her room..However your house..He has no say..He also will look very stupid..I insist my DC watches TC in her room??

To be honest I don't see why he wants her to have a tv so much either this isn't the first time he's insisted either its like the third time. I will be mentioning it in court everyone I've asked about it has the same opinion as me, he's just not getting my point and I'm trying my hardest not to get in to much of an argument with him but he just doesn't see my point
