Daughter paying keep/rent

Just want advice from mom's with older kids at home my daughter 21 just finished 5 years of extra education now starting a well paid job I'm single parent and have had to go back to work full time to keep the bills paid also got younger son who is 10 get no help from either dads. What is a realistic amount to ask towards bills etc from my daughter

Yes 100%. She is an adult and if she is choosing to share a house with you/vice vera there is no reason she shouldn't pay her way. It will teach her about the real world when she does move out too. I was asked to when I finished studying, got a job and was still with my mother. Not because she needed the money but out of respect. And it also taught me a lot with how everything works. I never payed half the rent or anything, but I think I gave my mum £80 a month plus contributed to some spend with food/toiletries etc as well as doing half the house work etc x

I'd prob say around the £100 mark just out of common courtesy and respect. It will teach her in the long run to budget and prioritise.
