My DD's father has anger issues, he uses any incident where our child gets a bump or graze, slight burn or eats treats as grounds to shout, criticise & harass, call me names, threaten to take her away etc, etc
Does a child getting slight sunburn during a day trip seem neglectful on the parents behalf?
Anyone else who has experienced this or similar, I'd love to hear how you deal with it / cope!

if he shouts at you in person call the police if he is intimidating.

dd got sunburn on school residential. (slight, red nose, cheeks)
she was also fed her allergen and she was sick.

just for comparison. professionals looking after her for a few days. these things happen.

I would be annoyed about a parent letting them get burned because of the long term consequences, but bumps, bruises, grazes, treats are all normal parts of childhood.

sunburn would only be an issue to concern professionalsis it was bad, or repeated
