Anyone ever been called in for an interview with a customer compliance officer ? It's at the job centre

Hi all
I'm on income support and have just received a letter from the job centre about going to a meeting with them and ' were reviewing your benefits and circumstances ' and asking me to bring id ... when I called up it was the fraud team? Really panicking now has anybody else had this before ? Thanks

I had one of these interviews a long time ago now when I was claiming income support as a lone parent. I was bricking it!! Once I got there I was told someone had reported me as living with a partner- I wasn't and explained I had recently had a fall out with my children's dad. It was put down as a malicious report. There was also an issue with my address as my post still went to my parents and not my rented house - this was cleared up also. If you have nothing to hide don't worry about it - it will be fine x

As PP said, it could be a malicious report. My mum was reported once by an ex landlord who was angry she reported him for threats (he wanted sexual favours from his tenants).
I was once reported by my own step mum because she resented that my dad topped up my rent and she told the DSS that I was working (I wasn't) because I couldn't possibly make my rent and bills on my meagre dole money.

Basically they have heard everything at the job centre. Just go in, state the facts and if you can, take proof or whatever they need.

They called me last year I went in and they wanted to know how I Just had a baby from the man I wasn't with anymore. I gave her the look and was like because I left him when I was pregnant durhhhh!!!!
I was really pissed off as I had just had my baby 3weeka before they made me come in and basically ruined my first outing with my baby.
