The dc's are usually up before me at weekends and I've finally solved the cup of tea in bed problem. 10yr old DS made the tea in a travel cup with a lid and brought it up to me. No risk of burns or spillage.

He even bought the Sunday paper up. It was most civilised .

That's lovely. We have had similar breakthroughs at home now dd1 is finally old enough to help around the house
