I haven't posted here before but just needed to offload after a mildly trying day. The cat brought in a mouse, which is now hiding behind the kitchen unit and I can't get it out. It (the cat) has also scratched up the carpet, which is pretty disastrous because I'm living in rented accommodation. I'm also getting stressed because my periods have sudden become irregular - it's probably nothing but, since I became a single mum, I can't help jumping to the worst case scenario and panicking about what would happen to my daughter if I became terribly ill.

Sorry, this all sounds a bit pathetic but I don't have anyone to talk to and it helps to write it down.

It's not pathetic at all, I have often felt the same way. I always say illness is the enemy of the single parent, but you do get through it. I have been a single parent for 10 years now and days like these come and go, I promise you Flowers xx

Thank you! Sorry I didn't reply sooner - crazy couple of days. Your message made me feel a lot better though :)

No problem, so glad it helped, sometimes you just need to know someone has also been through it! You are doing a great job, keep telling yourself that, I still do it! Smile
