Advice for a friend

Hiya,

I was hoping for some advice for a friend. She is 7months pregnant and has found out her husband has been cheating on her so they have split up.

She is obviously devastated and I want to be a supportive friend to her. I just have no idea what I can say to help her. I feel like I end up repeating the same cliches to her.
So you wonderful people, can anyone shed any light on practical advice/tips to help her prepare for lone parenting. I'm not sure of what the father's input will be if any, financial, emotional or practical.

Hope my ramblings make sense xx

I think just simply be a friend. Tell her you are there whatever she needed. Someone to listen not tell them that you always knew he was a loser.
Tell her practical or emotional.

I found the hardest thing with my son asking for help, so maybe drop some food in, when baby is born ( dependant on what support she has) offer to look after baby while she has a bath, nap.
