Smacking

Hello, I have a lovely 6 year old boy. He is has had 3 occasions where he thinks he is superman in the last 2 months at school. It is a complicated situation. One child has been winding him up and he has retaliated after it has happened. The child is a massive problem and winds my son up in the playground. My son says he keeps chasing him.. basically until he gets the reaction the other child wants which is my 6 year old reacting back and he won't tell a teacher the child is basically bullying him. I have no proof because of it. My son won't speak out and it's really upsetting me he's being taught that he'll be punished where in fact the boy is deliberately doing this to my son and has yet again not been punished. I'm fed up now of children that cause my son to react like this and they lie to teachers. He's being bullied and I cannot prove it!

This is confusing op, can you explain it further?

He thinks he's superman?
What is the child doing?
How does your child react?

What has all this got to do with smacking? I also don't think you need proof about bullying for the school to deal with this. What have the school said when you've spoken to them?

Ime some schools can be quite weak at this in that they will punish the outburst but not the behaviour that prompted it.

I would suggest speaking to your son's teacher and ask him to have a whole class talk about how it's important to be kind to each other and also to keep an eye on this other boy when he's around your son.

When things are a bit more settled you can then discuss strategies for dealing with mean behaviour with him but he sounds quite overwhelmed at the moment.

I don't know what this thread is about or what OP is asking .
It's very confusing,
