I want to leave my p but dont know where to start.
have 2 dd's below age of 2 and no time/ head space to begin to think clearly about where to start.
i want to do it as amicably as possible and dont want to get it wrong, by making rash decisions etc.

Any advice for a soon to be singleton?

Thanks for the Gingerbread link i'll contact them tomorrow.

No Firefly i didnt really find out what he was up to, but things have been in a downward spiral for a long time.
I think it's best if i leave as our current situation is really unhealthy for the dd's.
DD1 said something along the lines of
"mummy daddy no shouting scary' and it broke my heart
that she has to whitness us tearing each other apart. So best to have two happy parents apart than two unhappy parents together.

wdhd i am so sorry you are in this situation. our dd has seen us argue as well and it did make her upset for a while BUT things have evened out for us here and dd is once again saying "happy" and i believe things will get better for you too. it may take a while but you will get there
