My grandparent recently died and I sent ex a text saying this is when the funeral is can you pick dc up from school.

Answer comes back - no I'm working.

Am I being unreasonable about this. They are his dc too. Now I have to faff around pulling yet more favours from people. But I'm expected to be ultra flexible. Grrrr just ranting.

Although very frustrating for you it may be that he is unable to be flexible in working hours? I wouldn't be able to leave an hour or 2 early to pick up my children in anything other than exceptional circumstances. I'm guessing this isn't the first time he's let you down though? Sorry about your grandparent
