Book recommendations for young children

Can anyone recommend any books which celebrate or portray lone parent families for my DC (4) please?
Getting fed up with the traditional "mummy and daddy" set up most of the books we read seem to contain.

The Mum- Minder by Jacqueline Wilson. (Maybe a bit old but a goodie with pictures.)

General story- Mum is a childminder but gets ill so older child pitches in with help from the other working mums at their workplaces with the babies in tow.
