Hi all
Can any of you lovely single parents recommend a holiday company that specialise in single parents holidays? Any rave reviews? I've googled but really want to hear about people's experiences. I want to take my 4 year old DD in May.
My criteria;
Abroad
Not too expensive
Other single parents & kids
Sporty activities for me for some of the time
Some kind of kids club for DD for some days
All transfers
Smile Thank you

There is a private group on Facebook called Single Parent travel club, people arrange their own holidays with like minded single parents. I went last year and It was great fun :)

I don't know if you found anything suitable, but I think Neilson would tick all of your boxes. We went last year before DH and I separated, but I'm thinking of taking DS alone this year. The kids club is amazing so I would get some time to myself to do all the sporty stuff they offer. They don't specifically do single parent holidays, but I remember when I saw the list of who was getting on the return transfer coach, I was really surprised at the proportion of bookings which included a single adult.

Honestly, i wouldn't worry too much about speciality lone parent holidays - the word speciality has always put them out of my price bracket! I've been to Greece, Turkey and the USA with dd as a lone parent. I tend to do AI so that way I know if my cards/cash go missing we can still eat and drink, find one with a kids club and evening entertainment and you've cracked it
