It'll probably be great when you finally do do it, because since you're being choosy it'll be with someone you really, really like. Are you having a crisis now because you've met someone and the possibility is looming, or because you're feeling like you might never do it again?

How old are you MrsCelibate if you don't mind me asking?

tammybear · 19/06/2004 01:49

its been two years this month for me

chloeb2002 · 19/06/2004 19:04

i may be odd but been a good while for me too but i figure its an individual thing? I have big issues since broke up with ex. I guess everyone has their own reasons? DD was totally unplanned pill baby and although i knew the risks ex p decided he didnt! couldnt go through that again just yet and as abstenence is the only safe method ill stick to it till my head is straight!! I also dont think there are that many fish in the sea that tickel my gills!

mrscelibate · 19/06/2004 19:17

i'm 27-does that make it worse or better?!

i just can't find anyone i fancy! don't go out that much-money, babysitter etc-don't want just a one night stand. where do you meet nice men?

tammybear, ignore this if you want... i thought you were in a relationship?

Haven't had sex since dd conceived - she is 14 months. And I live with dp!!!

tammybear · 19/06/2004 19:24

i am. but because of problems i had when giving birth to dd as i was stitched up wrong and too tight as i tore three times, and other problems, it hurts too much. when me and dp tried it was like a knife had stuck itself up me. not to put anyone off having sex of course! but im having it all sorted out as much as i dont want to because i got to have an operation and i dont want to lol

mrscelibate · 19/06/2004 19:46

tammybear

thats kind of what i'm worried about-that something might not be quite right after having had ds and i wouldn't know cos i haven't had sex.

OP posts:
tammybear · 19/06/2004 19:53

ive been trying to avoid the operation as i really REALLY dont want to go through with it. the doctor i saw completely put me off it, as I was suppose to have it last year, but he was really unsympathetic, and caused me even more pain. well anyway, since i know that it does really hurt, im now having to do it.

before we tried, i was scared that it would really hurt, so i would always tensed up. when i finally managed to relax, it hurt so much i screamed and kicked him off lol. now i just tense up and wont let him anywhere near me, so i really have to get it sorted.

you dont really know until you try i suppose. do you have relatives who can look after your child so you can go out?

essbee - why did he say that its best not to have the anesthetic, and how long after did it hurt?

mrscelibate. I didn't have sex for about the same amount of time with my exh before we split up. It is nervewracking with someone new after that long BUT good!!! Do you have a good male friend who could 'help out'- a lot of women do this ( I did). Not everybody would feel comfortable with that, but I agree with you that you don't want to just do it for the sake of it.

Careful22 · 30/07/2022 03:48

I haven't had sex for 4 years now. All my dreams involve extremely wonderful sex
I've been very patient with this menopausal stuff but if I don't get laid soon. I think I'm goingj to explode.

theniceunderstandingone · 30/07/2022 04:00

I've not had sex since my daughter was conceived on 12th october 2019.

LSS - he was a bootycall. Used a condom and it broke, took the MAP and that didn't work. Apart from the sex I can't stand him so he wasn't involved in pregnancy or now.
I'm single and not happy with my body to try and meet anyone but I am HORNY AS HELL. I think about sex several times a day

I don't know when I will ever get my rocks off again but I'm sure when I do it will be like riding a bike (with a little hip cramp) 🤣🤣🤣

FilePhoto · 30/07/2022 04:04

Why on earth has an 18 year old thread been revived?

theniceunderstandingone · 01/08/2022 01:35
