Should I stop contact

Need advice my child's dad has a father who is a convicted pedophile. When we where still together he spoke to his dad on the telephone and also went to visit him once. He has now been released and living locally. I've asked my child's dad if he has contact with his father and he told me it was none of my business. I have been told by SS to stop contact immediately and I am also seeking legal advice. I just worry that a judge would rule against me as there is no evidence to my child seeing their grandfather. This man is also considered highly dangerous and is very well known to police and to SS. Any help/advice would be welcome please!

Yes, I would follow SS's advice and stop contact, unless I was fully reassured that there was no contact at all.

As it is, and if you stop contact and he goes to court, he'll have to demonstrate to the judge that he can be trusted to protect his own son.

Thank you, my thoughts exactly but I always feel I'm being bitter as he's very manipulative. Horrible situation for the children but like you say it's not worth the risk

Just remember who you have on your side.

And don't be afraid to phone the police should he try to intimidate you in any way.

He should be more concerned for the safety of his dc.
