dd1 wants to find her dad... any advice?

She hasn't seen him in ten years and I don't know where to start. Have googled him - no joy. Have looked at phone books, but he has quite a common name and I don't know where he lives now. Have looked on Genes reunited and Friends reunited. Now I'm stuck. Any advice gratefully received. Thanks

I thought of that, but assumed it would be really expensive. Have just checked and it's £3.75 so am looking there now. Thanks for the tip.
