Hi
Just back from summer holiday for first time as a lone parent with five year old and it went so fantastically I'm now thinking of a ski holiday!
Anyone out there been as a lone parent and can recommend any particular company?
Thanks!!

I have been on summer holidays with Neilson and met some lone parents who are having a great time so that might also work in the winter too?

We had a lone parent and child in our chalet with VIP this year and it worked really well. As it was a chalet holiday most of us didn't want to go out in the evening so the dad had company after his son was in bed.

In the morning he'd drop his child at ski school, ski until lunch (sometimes with us) and then lunch with his son before skiing the afternoon and picking his son up and joining us for aprés. The son would have his supper when we got back and then fall into bed as he was knackered and then the rest of us would have a grown up evening.

Club Med was excellent and although I went with friends I would go again on my own. DS had just turned 6 and rarely saw him he had that much fun in the kids clubs and skiing etc.

Nice rest for me, DS loved it and everyone was very friendly in my ski group. My friends had never skied before so were not in my group.
