Hi everyone, any advice would be great. My 'D'H and I split last week. We have one DS who is 2 in August. As H worked out of the country a lot I gave up my job to be a SAHM. I can go back to work for my old boss on a part time basis and she has told me I can pick my hours to suit so that's one less thing to worry about. I cannot afford the mortgage payments on my wages alone so will be moving out of the family home with DS (and the pets). I'm starting to feel ok about the breakdown of the relationship but I now don't even know where to start with everything else. Can anyone tell me it's all going to be ok?lol x

Four years down the line from you, and yes, it will be ok. Hard work but worth it. And you might even find yourself better for it...

Is the house mortgaged rather than rented? If so, don't move anywhere until you've taken legal advice.

I agree legal advice is needed here for the finance stuff.. Do not move out at this point. .
