Variation of income anyone had success?

CMS have finally agreed to look at variation of income of ex h possibly diverting income through his girlfriend.

Has anyone had success from a variation?
Everything I sent CMS as proof (Facebook screenshots etc) they are sending him so he can dispute which I am not happy about but they wouldn't do a variation without proof.

I have had success with a variation request, although the circs were quite different (I asked them to take into account dividends declared to HMRC). I suppose my variation request was pretty straightforward compared to yours. But what I will say is it still wasn't anywhere near the actual income that my X has coming in. I was advised to apply for a mandatory reconsideration (the next step after variation). I was told it would be rejected as CMS have no investigative powers... But once you have exhausted this step/process, it leaves you open to apply to the tribunal service for an appeal to be heard outside of the CMS by the courts and tribunal service. A tribunal has more powers than CMS and can request disclosure of bank statements etc. I don't know enough about it to comment any further, but didn't want to read and run. The whole process is a nightmare! I'm currently waiting for a tribunal date, once my X makes his mind up about where he would like it heard.

Have you provided any other evidence apart from Facebook screenshots? If this is all you have provided then it is unlikely that the variation will pass preliminary consideration and will be rejected
