Should I tell her I'm going to court

My 7 yr old daughters dad is taking me to court over visitation in a few weeks. I am struggling to contain my emotions ATM and she has emotional issues so I don't know how well she will cope. I don't know what to do for the best as it could go further and someone may need to speak to her. What has everyone else done with regards to communicating with their child.

Does she see her Dad now? what is he asking for to change..Do you think he will get it?

When my ex took me to court I didn't tell my DS but he was 4 and nothing was likely to change.

He hasn't seen her for months after an incident where I stopped him due to her welfare and before that it was very sporadic every few months but apparently now he wants her every other weekend for 3 nights. She has never slept over with him and we split up 4 years ago. I have no idea what they will decide.
