Maintenance payments

I'm claiming maintenance money through cms and my ex has disagreed the amount hmrc says he earnt last year!

Does anyone have any experience of this and any positive outcome? Tia

No experience...However unless the figure sounds severely wrong then my guess is he is trying to pull as fast one and they will of seen it before

In our case my ex kicked off to CMS because he said that they had not taken off his pension contributions.

What happened was that it started a two month long investigation and there were two caseworkers on it, apparently. After this they ruled that yes, they had miscalculated and took £5 per week off me. He was disgustingly smug about it. Twat.

So if one of you queries something, they will look into it but it might take some time.
