New relationship. Do I have to tell DWP

I am a single parent on income support.
I am in a new relationship.
He stops over once a week, and we have days out together with the kids.

He is not living with me, far from it. But do I have to tell DWP?

You get income support because you are a single mum, not because you are a hermit, and you will continue to be a single nun unless he moves in, which is when:
-He stops having his own home

  • He moves all his stuff to a house you share, including bills, council tax, insurances, driving licence records, etc.
  • starts contributing to your household's expenses.

So no, you don't have to tell DWP unless he moves in.

No. I also believe the amount of nights they stay over shizzle is a myth too

Mum, not nun (even if the circumstances push us in that direction... )
