Feeling rubbish, been ill with the flu amongst other things, took time off work to recover, now dd has caught the flu off me.

I'm drained and have no involvement from dd's dad. Sick leave as a lone parent is bloody tricky. Sorry just needed a rant.

So true. It sucks it up when you have to account for both your illness and child's. I ended up always negotiating for work-from-home and/or more leave when up for a new position. Even then, it can be nerve-wracking. Hence, vitamins, exercise, and flu jab.

Best wishes on that.

It is tough...I am a childminder..So either of us are sick no income... Luckily my DS isn't sick that often..

Hope your DD is on the mend soon..
