Stopping breast feeding

Really finding it hard to get my daughter of the breast she is so stubborn, has anyone got any advice I would really appreciate it x

I struggled with this my Ds was 2 ..I did it in the end because he woke constantly for me to be his dummy.

I found saying no in the day..Rubbing his back to get him to sleep at naps and night feeds were the last to go.

How old is she? My dd breastfed all night every hour until 2 and then I managed somehow to say no to booby at night. The crux of it was not allowing her to fall asleep on the boob. She would have boob last thing but I'd not allow her to fall asleep. Take her off and say night night boobies now time for sleep. There were tears and tantrums but you have to stay calm and stick to your guns. once that was accepted I'd put a time on the next feed so if she woke before 3am she wouldn't get boob and then I gradually increased the cut off time until we got to just morning feeds. She had boobie when it was time to get up for over a year and we finally stopped of her own accord a few weeks ago. She is 4 next month. I never thought we d get there coz she is a boob addict. She still asks for them and gropes them a few times a day but she doesn't have any and isn't really bothered. Good luck x

14 months I bf till. and he went every hr through the night. stopping was my biggest worry cause I had little energy and didn't think I cud do it. so he went on a little holiday wiv my sister. She put him on sma. he staid for 3 days. he did get upset for 1 day but took to it really well. she's a fab mum and I trust her complicity. that's important.i dried up in 3 days and he was so happy with her I even wondered did he miss me. she constantly kept in touch sending pictures and I felt gappy he was being so well looked after. Wen he came home not once did he ask 4 boob. I thought he mite but no wanted his bottle. now 20 months my problem with him is ge don't eat just loves his bottle. I also have 2 other kids all under 6 and bf as long as I did took all my energy.i weighed 45 kilos in the end. it worked 4 me and I'd do it again for sure.
