The dating game. I need help

Took the plunge and went on a date not heard a thing since that night. Move on gracefully or ask him out? I'm new to this so I don't know what the etiquette is. TIA

I can't see any harm in you asking him out for a second date - if he then doesn't reply then I would leave it.

Some men take over a week to contact you after a date, they like to play it cool esp. in the beginning. If I were you I wouldn't do anything for at least 2-3 weeks then send a casual text.

Some men's timescales in terms of dating are really off the scale I must warn you!

When I started dating I went on a date with a guy, I didn't hear anything after so assumed he wasn't interested, then a few weeks later he messaged, he thought I wasn't interested as I hadn't messaged him , we eventually went on a pother date but it didn't work out.

I wouldn't bother txing him. I firmly believe if he like you, you'll hear from him. I also put a week on it.
If I went on a date that went well & they messaged me in 3 weeks id ignore them ??

I need help too...getting on a date . I also took the plunge and joined a dating site. Lots of hopeless messages, some too keen too soon etc and just when I was giving up hope of finding someone nice...he contacted me. So lots of messages which then moved on to personal emails. Asked for more pics etc. we've established we've got lots in common etc He says he likes my pics, humour etc so I bit the bullet and sent my number And said should we meet up. He wrote back, lovely long email said he was busy this weekend and do I have Skype. Eh? How many long emails can we send? Can't think of anything more to put so how do I make the transition to actually meeting up? He's the first one I've met that I actually want to meet ...and now he hasn't asked!! Do I need to be patient? Should I just Skype (bit difficult with kids around) or what? Been out of it for so long I don't know how to flirt etc!

Why not skype by appointment Lioness when the children are asleep e.g. 9 p.m. You could set aside half an hour at that time perhaps?

Personally I don't bother with dating as I find it is too much hassle. I am just too busy until ds is 15 so 4 more years next March! Even then I may not bother. I have got used to preferring my own space and my own independence and would never move in with somebody else again it is too invasive and takes over your life too much.
