I was seeing a man on and off since May, long story short I got pregnant after taking the morning after pill so very shocking. Anyway are there any single mums to a toddler and a newborn? By the time the new baby is here my little girl will be 2 and a half. I just need some encouragement that I can do this. Feeling very low right about now

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Hi Chole, sorry you are feeling so low. I am separated, Mum to a 16 month old & my baby is due in 2 months. I know it will be really hard but keep thinking a) there must be loads of single mums who have coped well in similars circs & b) for those with similar children's age gap who have a partner often their man may be useless, mean/abusive, or work all the time so they will be doing it with v little support too.
At the end of the day we are Mums & though we may struggle with difficult situations we will draw on all our strength to give our childrdn the best possible care. I am sure it will not be as bad as we think. There is another relevant active thread on here - single & pregnant - which has quite a lot of people on it.

Thank you. Yeah it will be hard but you're right, have to make the best of it. How have you found your pregnancy with a baby to look after? X

Loads of people said pregnancy wld be so hard w another lo to look after but it hasn't been at all & I'm 8months now. I just go to bed much earlier, but not really more tired during day. So focussed on my lo don't obssess about this pregnancy like I did about the last one, been lucky & not had any big problems w it though. Think people say it will be a lot worse than it actually is!
