anyone know?!

solicitor mentioned it last week and ive only just really thought about it today.

ds been with me since birth and his father has supervised access at present but working towards unsupervised once ds health/medications sorted out.

ex is either really nice or drags me back to court quick sharp for the most ridiculous things. i mentioned to sols that he would probably surprise me one day and go for custody thats when she mentioned residence order.

havent got a clue about them?any knowledge anyone?

if i dont reply, im not being rude, just going up to put ds to bed.

thanks

A residence order is normally only necessary when there is a dispute over where the child should live. Residence is really just another word for custody.

If your son lives with you, then it really shouldn't be necessary to apply for a residence order unless his father starts to demand that he live with him. In that case, he will have to apply for a residence order.
