I have a good friend with a 12 year old daughter who wants to find a UK

holiday that would be activity based so that there would be some community, like a yoga holiday or some kind of activity? The daughter is very arty and the mum would love cooking or sewing. Some kind of group holiday would be perfect, she doesn't want to go away on her own.
Any ideas or places where a lone mum would recommend?

I don't know the details, but there is an activity holiday place in Devon, where there are timetables of art and craft activities throughout the day along with some sports, I believe. I have no idea of the name though I'm afraid

Triptrap that is The Manor & Ashbury hotel near Okehampton. Pgl do activity holidays for families although accommodation is pretty basic. HF holidays is another with short breaks in hotels , some of which are family orientated. There is a centre near Chichester which does short courses for adults in arts, crafts, creative writing etc, not sure of their minimum age though.
