He's 2 years old. Husband buggered off whilst I was pregnant.

Trying really hard to enjoy it. We've come somewhere quiet and we're near the beach.

But it's hard work and I'm tired.

Would be interested to hear other stories about holidays alone with children,............ Smile

With a 2 year old on your own it is not a holiday... I decided after going on holiday with my DS and a relative at that age I would just do lots of day trips..It worked much better. He slept better in his own bed. I was on my own still at night but better been on my own at home and worked really well.

Can I say as they get older it gets easier. I now do them on my own with DS(8) he is better company can stay up late .. We went abroad the first time this year and thoroughly enjoyed it

Thank you! I guess that is what I wanted to hear,....... no more pushchairs, daytime naps, nappies, whining,.... (well may be not with the whining bit!).
