Have you actually asked him?
Think you're prob waiting for something to go wrong (thats what i would be like ) but then again I haven't got a clueabout men anyway!

sounds like you're worrying about nothing to be you've got a lovely fella by the sounds of it, go enjoy..

Aimsmum sounds like you are waiting for things to go wrong so you can prove yourself right, when in fact you have nothing to worry about, so ENJOY YOURSELF

If your BF thought you were holding him back he would have finished the relationship by now, he doesnt have to be with you, he CHOOSES to be

xx

If you're worried, talk to him. Then you can either confirm that you were right to be worried, or stop worrying.

I suppose it depends on what his and your long term aims are...

I don't think I would say anything at the moment - its early days and you are all having a great time together.

If he has always been an independant sort and started to feel tied down surely he would bring the subject up himself?

I say go with the flow and enjoy....

Hi, how did you get on talking to him about it.
I've got kind of the same situation and its working out fine, we're all about to move in together !!
My DP has a 13 year old son who lives with him full time and really needs not much looking after especially compared to my son who is nearly 2 now.
To be honest I didnt think he would hang around that long and would get bored of having to sit in nearly every night (babysitters scarce) especially as those days were long gone for him.
Well he didn't get bored and here we are!!
I guess there's no way of knowing how its going to work out, but he's been there quite a while now and if he was going to get fed up he probably would be by now, and it doesn't sound like he is!
