Aren't birthdays on your own rubbish ?!

So its my birthday I've been to work. Had 4 cards and two pairs of pyjamas. Im very grateful but god im bored dd has been in bed since 6.15.

I see on the dreaded facebook people having meals nights out ect and the only thing im looking forward to is a bubble bath and getting in my new pjs :)

Im also working out my money for the next two weeks so I can take dd on some days out. Its hard being the one to afford everything all the time isn't it.

last year, my 40th, I put the dc's to bed, spent another hour tying to settle dd, had dinner on my own and started on OU work late into the evening.

however, I do always take my birthday off work and get to a gym class.

Ooh it was my birthday this weekend. Much the same! I found it a hard day, tbh
